Hearing this makes us excited! If a place like that surely exists, everybody would surely want to travel there, wouldn’t they? Yes! The good news is that there is a place like this. It is called the kingdom of heaven! – in the Bible, “a new heaven and a new earth”
Revelation 21:1~4 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth has passed away, and there was no longer any sea. … There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.
Kingdom of Heaven – Beyond Description
The kingdom of heaven is a place where we could travel not only on this tiny earth but also throughout the whole universe. Can you imagine yourself flying from one planet to another in a second? Doesn’t it sound fantastic? How beautiful would the kingdom of heaven be? The Bible describes it like this:
1 Corinthians 2:9 No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him.
If you visit a beautiful place, you are normally so excited that, upon your return, you show your family and friends all the photos and videos that you took.
However, can they fully grasp how wonderful the place was with only photos? No!
In the same way, Christ wanted to deliver the true beauty of the kingdom of heaven to us. But it is extremely difficult for human beings to visualise, unless we see it with our own eyes. For this reason, the Bible describes heaven as a place that is truly beyond description. No words in this world can ever express it.
Don’t you feel excited just hearing of such a wonderful and indescribable place?
2 Peter 3:10~13 But in keeping with his promise are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness.
Prerequisite for Entering the Heavenly Country – Eternal Life
Only those who have God’s promise is privileged to enter the kingdom of heaven. What is God’s promise through which enables us to go to the everlasting heavenly country?
1 John 2:25 This is what he promised us-even eternal life.
This means only those who receive God’s promise of eternal life are able to enter the kingdom of heaven. In other words, no one can go to heaven without receiving eternal life. It is because the kingdom of heaven is a place where there is no death. So our mortal body is not allowed to enter. Then we have to know how to receive eternal life:
John 6: 53-54 unless you eat the flesh and his blood, you have no life in you. whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life.
Passover is the ONLY WAY to Receive Eternal Life
The Bible says eternal life which is God’s promise, can only be given to those who eat Jesus’ body and drink His blood. Then how can we eat Jesus’ body and drink His blood?
Matthew 26:17 On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?”
Matthew 26:26-28 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
Passover is the Key to the Kingdom of Heaven
The ceremony of eating Passover bread and drinking Passover wine represents eating Jesus’ body and drinking His blood. If we keep the Passover, we can receive eternal life and have the keys to the kingdom of heaven. There is only one church which celebrates the Passover of the New Covenant. The World Mission Society Church of God! Then what are you waiting for? Come to the Church of God. Let all of us go to the everlasting kingdom of heaven by keeping the Passover of the New Covenant which is the true way of eternal life.
God bless you!
